For those not in the know, Carl Palmer is an English drummer and percussionist, credited as one of the most respected rock drummers to emerge from the 1960s.
He is a veteran of a number of famous English bands: the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Atomic Rooster, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Asia.
Inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1989, he was awarded "Prog God" at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards.
Releasing June 29th, 2018 via BMG Rights Management (UK) Ltd, Carl Palmer, perhaps the most incredible drummer the world has ever seen, and now the sole surviving member of prog rock giants Emerson, Lake & Palmer brings forth Carl Palmer's ELP Legacy Live[CD+DVD Digipack].
Featuring two amazing Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy gigs, the CD was recorded live in New York 2014, the DVD live in Miami 2016. With the DVD itself being a delicious 2 hours long, this is the complete tribute show to Keith Emerson, featuring special guests Steve Hackett (Genesis), Mark Stein (Vanilla Fudge), and David Frangioni.

On the DVD performance, our dynamic trio are accompanied by The Center For Contemporary Dance Ensemble, including during the Emerson tribute "Pictures At An Exhibition". It's been said down the years that both Palmer and Emerson were inspired by the piece and it gave them some early common ground. [The booklet also comes with brand new sleeve notes by Carl Palmer].
