Title - 'Bad Samaritan'
Artist - Joseph LoDuca
For those not in the know, 'Bad Samaritan' is the latest film from Dean Devlin, Producer and writer for both the 'Independence Day' films, 'Godzilla', 'Stargate,' and more.
The film stars David Tennant and Robert Sheehan, with Carlito Olivero, Kerry Condon, and Jacqueline Byers in supporting roles.
Sheehan portrays the title character, a valet who burglarizes the houses of the drivers he services, only to discover one of his rich customers (Tennant) is a kidnapper and torturer.
Out now via Varese Sarabande, the soundtrack is composed by Joseph LoDuca, best known for his work on the 'Evil Dead' films, as well as the Xena TV series. Indeed, Joe is also the current composer for the Librarians TV series, although that just got cancelled (sorry!)

“After making music together continuously for the last decade and a half, Bad Samaritan is our first feature film collaboration,” said director Dean Devlin, who has collaborated with LoDuca on such series as Leverage, The Librarians, and the mini-series The Triangle.
“Joe and I have covered nearly every genre and style of music together, but this time we pushed ourselves into new ground."
LoDuca, himself obviously no stranger to large orchestral action, adventure, fantasy, and thriller music, really shines here on 'Bad Samaritan,' a film that is as darkly funny, thrilling, and raucous as it's original score composition, trust me.
We open with a lush theme that reflects the heart of our Irish immigrant hero. Before long, we are thrust into a world of fear and dread and Joe constantly ups the stakes with nerve-wracking crescendos.
In fact, it's only during the last shots do we get to breathe again when LoDuca gives us a most satisfying resolution. So listen in the dark if you dare, and re-experience the perfect soundtrack to the story of the Bad Samaritan, who was desperate for redemption!
