Title - 'Happy To Be Alive'
Artist - Afroman

For those not in the know, Joseph Edgar Foreman, better known by his stage name Afroman, is an American hip-hop recording artist and musician. He is best known for the hit single "Because I Got High" for which he was nominated for a Grammy award in 2002.

And so now the Hip-hop artist extraordinaire Afroman returns with a brand new full length album - his first since 2009 - Happy To Be Alive on Cleopatra Records.

Happy To Be Alive features all new musical celebrations of Afroman's favorite green herb, as well as newly-recorded versions of his classic tracks - such as "Because I Got High", "Palmdale", "She Won't Let Me F**k", and "Crazy Rap!"

As for the man himself, well, Afroman has something many other artists do not: consistency. He's got a solid flow, good lyrics, clear voice. produces his own beats - which always sound fresh - and on this album everything is as good as it musically, and lyrically could have been.

Afroman is a great artist because he sticks to the formula that works best for him - and that's just having a good time. So, if you're a fan of Afroman, you'll love this new album after just one listen, let alone the 3 or 4 you'll spin it through the day you buy it!
