Title - 'Remember'
Artist - Mychael Danna
With help from a fellow Holocaust survivor (Martin Landau), a widower (Christopher Plummer) who struggles with memory loss embarks on a cross-country odyssey to find the former Nazi responsible for the deaths of their family members.
This wonderful soundtrack score to 'Remember' offers the best mix of orchestral and thrilling, white knuckle tense thematic music I've ever heard! Mychael Danna did a superb job in composing this soundtrack. Soundtracks, in my opinion, are what make or break a movie, and in this case, it made a very well done movie even more outstanding.
Indeed, Oscar winner, Danna, (Life of Pi), delivers a hauntingly beautiful score to the new drama from Oscar nominated Atom Egoyan. The film, which opened nationwide on January 15th, 2016, is made all the more powerful within its 24 tracks by Danna due to tense moments depicted on screen, which resonate wildly through the score composed.
Tracks such as 'Are You Rudy Kurlander?,' 'Ruth, I Can't See / Riding in Style,' 'The Face Of The Man,' 'Haus,' and both 'I Made A Mistake' and especially 'Your Voice I Have Not Forgotten' are brought to life by Danna, as the story builds, gathers intensity and delivers both visually and musically.
