Title - 'Evolution'
Artist - Narada Michael Walden

Known by most all musicians, producers, and fans of great music for many, oh so many years now, the great, and uber talented Narada Michael Walden will be releasing his brand new album, Evolution this coming October 30th, 2015 via Tarpan Records.

Having produced many household names, including Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Mariah Carey, Steve Winwood, Ray Charles, Sister Sledge and so many more, he was also awarded Grammys for producer of the Year in 1988, Album of the Year for the movie soundtrack The Bodyguard in 1993, and the R&B Song of the Year in 1985 for Aretha Franklin's 'Freeway of Love.'

Evolution opens with the stunning title track itself, and bleeds perfectly, seamlessly into the upbeat, fast tempo lushness of 'Billionaire On Soul Street.' A track that is, quite easily, one of the best cuts on this new album "I'm so rich with your love, I'm a billionaire on soul street", the track is hard to match for its vibrancy by anything thereafter, if truth be told. But each track does come close, of course, such as cuts like 'Baby's Got It Going On,' 'It's The Sixties,' 'Heaven's In My Heart,' and 'Tear The House Down' and 'Standing Tall.'

Narada's strong, soulful vocal sensibilities are on full display here from track one through to both the album-closing Booda Remixes of 'Show Me How To Love Again' and 'Billionaire On Soul Street.' He's already shown the world, time and musically time again, that his talent is endless, but here on Evolution his calling is front and center quite like nothing before; in my humble opinion.

Among a handful of the most innovative, original and influential artists of our time, Narada’s stature as an authentic musical renaissance man is second to none and Evolution's tracks are as new, as fresh, as exciting as anything that I've heard on the charts for a decade or more. Ergo, the beauty of this new album is that it makes you feel uplifted, hopeful, nostalgic ... and alive! You will definitely be keeping this CD in rotation for a long time, trust me on that.
