Title - 'NOW That's What I Call Music! 55'
Artist - Various

I have to say that my favorite song on this wonderful new CD is "Girl Crush" by Little Big Town. This is a slower country song that I am used to, but it explains how I feel when I see a girl that I like. I like the lyrics a lot also, which I'm sure will also appeal to a lot of others who listen to the song also. Anyway, this is a song that I don't hear every day on the radio, so I enjoy it very much.

There are songs on this Now 55 that I do hear every day on the radio though such as "Style" by Taylor Swift and "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran. I still enjoy them though, of course. "Fun" by Pitbull featuring Chris Brown is a song that I love just for the beat of it, whereas "Hold Me Up" from Conrad Sewell (amongst the What's Next set of five tracks that round out this new CD) is a song that makes me feel totally empowered. I JUST like the energy in Sewell's voice.

"Cheerleader" is an uplifting song from Omi, especially given that it his his debut single, and one that's been around in him homeland for a few years now until this "remix" was done to it! I love the horns playing in this song. "Honey, I'm Good" by Andy Grammer is a song that simply makes me feel GREAT though! I don't even have a special person in this life, but this song makes me feel like I do. The only song I did not care for is "This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Mother..." from Maroon 5. I just think they are overplayed now and especially the album that this came off on, sorry.

Hey, I do like a lot of Maroon 5 songs, but this one did not move me lyrically or melody wise. The Justin Bieber song, "Where Are You Now" - which also features Skrillex & Diplo, is not that impressive lyrically, but I like the electronic music playing on this song. Not every song on this CD is good, but most of these songs are good enough for me to recommend it. Try it for yourself and discover some cool summer 2015 songs for yourself.
