Title - 'We Own the Night' (Lakeshore Records)
Artist - Various

Written and directed by James Gray, "We Own the Night" takes you through the life of three men who not only fight for their own lives, but fight for each other.

The soundtrack that accompanies it takes you through the late 80s into the early 90s with classic cuts from Blondie, David Bowie, The Specials (and what a great sounding song 'Message To Rudy' still is!), Louis Prima, Coati Mundi (where did he go?), and many more from once buried in time.

But, and just as he last song is played out on the CD, it's when the orchestral score from Wojciech Kilar kicks in that suddenly a deathly haunting cowers down beside you. His work is breathtaking and sums the ambiance of the movie up in all 12 of the cuts that bring this soundtrack to a final close.
