George Fenton's career is littered with awards, multiple Ivor Novellos, BAFTAs, Emmys, a Classical Brit and five Oscar nominations. With over 100 film and TV scores to his credit the breadth of his composing is simply breath-taking.

Indeed, Fenton certainly has a magic touch when it comes to composing scores for motion pictures. He began composing in 1975, and soon penned music for such British theatre directors as Peter Gill, Howard Davies, Adrian Noble, and Richard Eyre. His efforts paid off in a big way, as he won those awards for his work.

But his greatest accomplishments were yet to come. but now coming bang up to date, here he has come together with the The BBC Concert Orchestra for an incredible musical journey across the 'Frozen Planet.'
