The boys are growing as a band and proving they are not a brit-pop\glam rock one trick pony, but a true legend in the making. If you own all of Placebo's other stuff, GET MEDS ASAP! You will love it and it will handle your jones for new Placebo content. The band is really continuing to grow in both lyrics and sound. It's a damn shame that they are not bigger stateside than they are in the rest of the world. Blame American Idol and Rap music. From start to finish, this album is classic Placebo with just the right amount of evolution to show that the band is not becoming stagnant or complacent. I would have to say that my personal favorite on the CD is "Post Blue" which sounds similar yet unlike anything they have done in the past, and the song that reminds me most of classic Brit-Pop Placebo is "Drag". Do yourself a favor if you intend to pick this up, shell out the extra cash for the CD\DVD version. As always, Placebo does not skimp on content with the DVD and will be a great piece in your collection next to Soulmates Never Die, and Once More With Feeling: The Videos. Pop it in and enjoy.
